Crescendo Daybed

I purchased the Crescendo Daybed at the 2025 Spirituality & Beyond Conference in Oakland, and omg—the moment I laid down, I was in heaven. I have a number of joint issues that slow my ability to move and dance, but this bed filled me with overwhelming joy. I could feel the bass moving through my body, vibrating my joints, and easing the stiffness instantly.

I selected the stunning black walnut, with the taller 10” trapezoidal legs for my clients with similar joint issues. It has that modern, sleek, low-profile look that gives my business a polished, professional therapy vibe—while still feeling warm and grounded.

I have 3/4 inch hardwood as flooring and was quite surprised that the sound does not travel. I was concerned my hardwood floor would act as an amplifier, but was pleasantly surprised at how self-contained the piece is. Living in a New York City apartment makes it challenging to enjoy music the way I like without worrying about noise complaints.

The Cresendo Daybed has completely changed that. Whether I’m lounging with headphones or using my external speakers, it delivers an amazing sensory experience without disturbing my downstairs neighbors. Since the bass is felt directly through the bed, I can keep the volume low while still enjoying deep, immersive sound in my living room.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite piece of furniture!

The Crescendo Daybed found itself into my home after a fervent meeting with its prototype at the 2023 Psychedelic Science conference. There were other vibrating mats there on show, but none that had an attenable price range for personal use. Despite its accessibility, it still holds itself to a beautiful standard with easily appreciated care and quality of design. The experience this daybed lends is transformational, and I don't use that word lightly. After long and stressful days at work - some of which I have previously wondered if it was actually possible to wash my brain - I now take comfort in the idea that I have something at home that can quickly reset my energetic system. It is not uncommon for a friend of mine to have their debut on the bed and immediately start laughing. One has told me that this bed has given them a deeper appreciation for music and has changed the way they listen to music.

More practically speaking, this bed has adjustable knobs that allow one to minimize or intensify the volume and tactile experiences to one's liking. The audio output can come through headphones (that are a part of the order), or with the correct aux wires, can be played through an external speaker, if say, one was hosting a daybed gathering. Either way, there is a perfect coordination of the audio and the tactile transducers.

As an audiophile, I still enjoy going to a concert and standing in front of a subwoofer (with earplugs, of course), but the Crescendo Daybed allows for the same experience in one's home without the concerns of damaging the precious sensory modality of hearing.
